

On Google Home devices, say "Hey Google, Play Classical KC" or "Hey Google, play Ninety One Nine, Classical KC." On Amazon Echo devices, ask "Alexa, Play Classical KC" or "Alexa, play Ninety One Nine, Classical KC." Most, but not all iHeart streams provide a direct streaming URL. The URL listed after the words 'shoutcasturl': will be the direct streaming URL (you'll have to remove the back slashes for it to work). This image will also appear on the KCUR website when you're ready to switch back to Classical KC.


I would prefer to stream the High bandwidth link - but would settle which over one I can get to work. Alternatively, open ArcadeMusic.xml in New Retro Arcade's content folder and past in the name in quotes and url in quotes in a slot and then save the xml file. They offer two listening streams, High & Low bandwidth. Paste the name and url in Arcade Builder in one of the tape or radio slots. In the past I've had no problems, however, they've recently switched to 'streamtheworld' and my link no longer works. You can continue to any page on this site and the audio will continue to play. You can stream 91.9 Classical KC from our website by clicking the blue and white play button at the top of our page if you're on a desktop computer, and at the bottom of the page if you're on a smart phone. But some residents may require an additional antenna for optimal listening at home. Our 7,000 watt transmitter reaches many parts of the Kansas City metro, and signal should be clear in your car.
